Overview

Bir Billing is a tiny hamlet in Himachal Pradesh's Kangra district. It is located at an elevation of roughly 2,400 metres above sea level and is well-known for being a popular site for adventure sports, including paragliding.

The village approximately 14 kilometres from the town of Baijnath and 60 kilometres from the metropolis of Dharamshala. It is bordered by beautiful green hills and provides spectacular views of the Dhauladhar mountain range.

Bir Billing derives its name from two adjacent villages, Bir and Billing. Bir is a small town that acts as the base camp for paragliding operations, whereas Billing is a meadow at an elevation of roughly 2,400 metres above sea level that serves as the paragliding take-off site.

Bir Billing is also known for its natural beauty and peaceful environment, in addition to paragliding. Many monasteries and temples can be found in the area, including the Sherab Ling Monastery, one of India's largest Buddhist monasteries. The Baijnath Temple, the Kangra Fort, and the Dharamshala Cricket Stadium are among notable tourist sites in the neighbourhood.

Bir Billing is also a popular trekking and camping location. There are various trekking paths in the region, ranging from simple to challenging, that provide spectacular views of the surrounding hills and valleys.

Day 2 Paragliding, Camping, Bonfire & Overnight in Camps.

 - Go paragliding and take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys and mountains.

 - After the paragliding adventure, visit the Sherab Ling Monastery, which is a wonderful and serene location to meditate and ponder.

 - Spend the day exploring the area, going on nature walks, or participating in adventure activities.

 - In the evening, return to the Camp for supper and an overnight stay. 

 - Dinner, bonfire, and overnight camping in Bir Billing beneath a starry sky. 

Day 3 Explore local Billing & Departure From Billing to Delhi.

 - After breakfast check out from the hotel. 

 - Explore local markets, shop around, and explore cafes around Billing.

 - Wake up early and have breakfast at your Hotel & Check out from your Hotel.

 - Spend the morning exploring the local markets, cafes, and monasteries in Bir. 

 - You can interact with the locals and try some local delicacies.

 - After exploring the town, head out for a nature walk on the Bir-Billing road.
